Microhardness and porosity (Vickers)
One sintered block is submitted to determine the porosity volume fraction variation and Vickers hardness of the material.

PURPOSE
Demonstrate the ability of Clemex CMT to perform and measure indentations. With the help of additional analysis modules, Clemex CMT is also capable to determine the porosity volume fraction variation across the material. RESULTS
The Vickers hardness measurements are performed on 10 fields. The porosity volume fraction variation across these fields is also analyzed. Automated statistics and graphs are generated and cumulated during the analysis. Final results can be printed directly from Clemex CMT. Raw data can be exported in Excel format.
